(NaturalNews) A new vaccine for influenza has hit the market, and it is the first ever to contain genetically-modified (GM) proteins derived from insect cells. According to reports, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved the vaccine, known as Flublok, which contains recombinant DNA technology and an insect virus known as baculovirus that is purported to help facilitate the more rapid production of vaccines.
According to Flublok’s package insert, the vaccine is trivalent, which means it contains GM proteins from three different flu strains. The vaccine’s manufacturer, Protein Sciences Corporation (PSC), explains that Flublok is produced by extracting cells from the fall armyworm, a type of caterpillar, and genetically altering them to produce large amounts of hemagglutinin, a flu virus protein that enables the flu virus itself to enter the body quickly.
So rather than have to produce vaccines the “traditional” way using egg cultures, vaccine manufacturers will now have the ability to rapidly produce large batches of flu virus protein using GMOs, which is sure to increase profits for the vaccine industry. But it is also sure to lead to all sorts of serious side effects, including the deadly nerve disease Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GSB), which is listed on the shot as a potential side effect.
“If Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) has occurred within six weeks of receipt of a prior influenza vaccine, the decision to give Flublock should be based on careful consideration of the potential benefits and risks,” explains a section of the vaccine’s literature entitled “Warnings and Precautions.” Other potential side effects include allergic reactions, respiratory infections, headaches, fatigue, altered immunocompetence, rhinorrhea, and myalgia.
We’ve stepped into a horror movie created by greed but supported by our own apathy. It’s going to get worse until there’s a true uproar. Another reason to buy from local non-GMO growers, grow your own food from non-GMO seed, absolutely refuse to support factory farming (including the dairy industry which IS the veal industry) and begin promoting individual and community based sustainability.
Sometimes I review the things I post and feel like I am reading sections of a bad sci-fi book or something. That ANYONE thinks this is safe is scary enough; that there are enough people in power to push this on the populace? Chilling. And yes, yes, YES to all of your points about returning to a more natural and local way of living. We just have to try to keep waking more people and making them aware of what we are doing/facing to the future of the planet.
I never have and I never will take one of these vaccines. I firmly believe that the odds are more in our favor risking and surviving the flu. Everybody knows that the flu virus is in a constant state of mutation. My mother, in her late 80′s, disagrees, she said this year, “Guess what, the info given to me when I got my flu shot this year says that it will cover last year’s strain as well as new strains.” I just looked at her steadily, nodded my head slowly and said, “Hmmm.”
So. . . we let people inject us with a serum that enters our blood stream, affects every aspect of our body, may stay in our blood stream forever . . . may radically impair our natural immune systems, we have no knowledge how these chemicals will react with future medications, there can be heinous side affects . . . we know that pharmaceutical companies are constantly saying “ooops,” . . . but at least we ‘may’ not catch the flu. Makes sense to me (Not)

I wouldn’t even agree to one of the so-called *normal* flu shots…one of these things?? HA! No. Way. I’ve not been near a western doctor in over 20 years and funniest thing…I don’t get sick and I’ve not had the flu since I was a child!

Now this is downright scary as flu vaccines are pushed on the young as well as the old and if it works to increase production/profits of flu vaccines, the technology will be used for other vaccines. Damn near every child in America could be injected with GMOs long before the potiential harm of doing so is fully realized.

Why some physicians do not give flu vaccine, rather refer the patient to a local pharmacy to get their shots. Liability from side effects more dangerous than the flu make me re-think a flu vaccine. So far I have done well with frequent hand washing, saline nasal spray and avoiding crowds.
I found that same thing to be rather odd…our Walgreens advertises flu shots like crazy and it wouldn’t surprise me if they made it so you could get one in the drive-up pharmacy lane soon. Seems like there ought to be more of an exam/interview before just dosing people with a chemical cocktail. I had concerns prior to them introducing GMO shots so if I wouldn’t get one before, I sure the hell won’t get one now!
This garbage needs to go the way of the 8 track tape and typewriters, pagers…common sense.
Inform others and do not, do not let the government inject your bodies with their experiments.
