Once again, local authorities attempt to over-step their bounds and interfere in the private business of citizens, this time in San Jose when officers attempted to search private property with a warrant or consent during a yard sale.
Whoever the rat-fink was who phoned the police to report the ‘possible’ sale of firearms obviously has no concept of big words like, “Freedom” and “Enterprise”. Kudos to the citizens for handling this situation as so well…and I’ll even give a tip-of-the-hat to the officers who stepped back instead of turning violent the way so many seem to do these days. They were out of line by coming onto the property but no one ended up beaten or tased – so at least the officers were not unprofessional or abusive. Sad that the point even needs mentioning, isn’t it?

“We heard you were selling lemonade here without a permit.”
Think I’ll drive around to garage sales around town tomorrow and look for suspicious items or kids selling snow cones so’s I can report them…
Or not. Ever.
